Join us as we travel to beautiful England and Scotland and explore the wondrous gardens and scenery of the region. Some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet will be at our fingertips as we experience over 20 key gardens and cultural sites. We will compare historic and contemporary gardens and architecture and meet some fabulous people along the way! See how historic European estates, gardens and arboretas reflect the climate, topography, history, philosophy, social structure, art and politics at the time of their creation. We will observe local plant materials, study different garden and design styles, and build an appreciation of international cultures. The gardens themselves will serve as our classroom as we photograph, sketch and use all of our senses in documenting each different landscape.
Thanks for coming along on our journey!
